Before the first weekly Dispatch arrives in your inbox, I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you.
You are receiving this because you joined the Delta Divers Project during our early days — before there was much to see, before the website was complete, and before the first stories were officially arranged.
Your interest, encouragement, comments, and willingness to come aboard early have meant more than you probably realize.
This project has been more than a decade in the making. What began as a simple idea to write a book about the U.S. Army Divers in Vietnam has grown into something much larger — a place to preserve their history, reconnect old friends, discover those who served before and after us, and ensure their story is never forgotten.
Beginning next week, you'll start receiving our regular Dispatches each Wednesday, along with shorter SITREPs on Saturdays. Together they'll tell the story of the Delta Divers, share new discoveries, highlight people and places, and occasionally take us behind the scenes as this project continues to grow.
You're one of the first people to join us on that journey.
